Associate Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a talented and motivated Associate Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will assist in the design, development, testing, and implementation of mechanical systems and products. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or early-career professionals interested in advancing their careers in mechanical engineering.

This is an onsite role in Boise, Idaho. 

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with senior engineers in the design and analysis of mechanical components and systems.

- Assist in the development of project specifications, including materials and manufacturing processes.

- Conduct feasibility studies and assist in the creation of prototypes.

- Utilize CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) to create detailed designs and technical drawings.

- Perform simulations and analyses using engineering software to validate designs and ensure performance and safety.

- Support the testing of prototypes and existing products, documenting results and suggesting improvements.

- Participate in project meetings, providing input and updates on assigned tasks.

- Assist with the preparation of project documentation, including reports and presentations.

- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.

- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in mechanical engineering technologies.

- Other duties as required.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

- 0-3 years of experience in mechanical engineering or related internships (recent graduates are encouraged to apply).

- Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar).

- Familiarity with engineering analysis tools and methodologies.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.


**Preferred Qualifications: **

- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials.

- Experience with thermal and fluid dynamics analysis.

- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and safety regulations (e.g., ASME, ISO).

- Machining experience.

- 3D solid modeling.

- Mechanical design experience.

- Experience with welding was a plus.

- Design with plastics.

- Clean Room/semiconductor experience a plus.
